This delightful Lakeland residence occupies a beautiful setting within views over lake Windermere, only a short walk from the shores of Lake Windermere alongside Storrs Park, known locally as 'Millionaires' Mile'.

Whether you are celebrating a happy event or just spending time with your favourite people, The Cottage is a 3 bedroom cottage delivering comfort and luxury. Enjoy the sumptuous bedrooms, large kitchen and separate dining area fit for any formal gathering. the rear door is straight out onto the rear garden and patio area with warming circular wood burner.

 

This picturesque sleepy location known as Ghyll Head is close to everything and surrounded by some favourite eateries including the very well known 'Masons Arms' at Strawberry Bank, The award winning Brown Horse Inn at Winster and Beach Hill Hotel and Spar with bustling Bowness-on-Windermere being a short distance away.

Our minimum stay is 3 nights, we do not take bookings for 1 or 2 nights. Prices are listed in the table below and based on 4 people sharing.

CHANGEOVER TIMES

We are always keen to ensure the cottage is ready for your stay so we ask guests to check in no earlier than 3pm on the day of arrival and to check out no later than 11am on the day of departure. You are more than welcome to arrive earlier or stay later providing we don’t have anyone leaving or joining us either side of your booking, so please do check a few days before you arrive and we will do all we can to accommodate you.

 

MAKE A BOOKING

There are several ways to make a booking. You are welcome to contact us via this website and call us and soon you will be able to visit Owners Direct or Airbnb pages to make a booking there (Airbnb will apply charges that we will not). We ask for a 50% deposit to confirm your booking and for the balance to reach us six weeks before your arrival. If your booking is for a date less than six weeks away, the full amount will be payable.

 

It is very easy to book.  You can use the contact page on our website, call us or email us and we will send you a booking form, make a payment for the deposit and you are done. We accept payments via PayPal, bank transfer or by Debit or Credit Card (a World Pay fee of 2.0% will apply to Credit Card bookings, all other forms of payment including Debit Card are free). We ask also that you provide a refundable deposit of £100 . Discounts are available for stays of two weeks or more.
